About Rear Naked Radio We're the original "Rear Naked Radio". This idea came from Shooter and Scorcho's love of MMA and constant dialog about it. The two of them would wax for hours about it on the phone when Scorcho suggested that maybe "people would want to listen to this stuff." Shooter laughed at that point. In the coming months though Shooter had considered it and thought that there might be something to the idea. After a few weeks of talking the two decided it was worth a try as there were quite a few shows out there but not many that covered the sport in a way that these two thought was fitting. Almost immediately Conrad Howell, a friend they had met online offered to help with web design and the project was launched. Placing the show under the Rings MMA banner that Shooter had started a year earlier for his MMA sim league with Ben Bunz, Rear Naked Radio launched. One of the first guests was TUF competitor Blake Bowman. Blake has a quick wit and a laid back look at MMA and immediately fit in with the shows somewhat off kilter tone. Before long Blake was invited to join as a full time host and it was then that the show really hit it's stride. Rear Naked Radio is a weekly talk radio show that covers the sport of MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). Featuring weekly updates on all of the current happenings around the world in MMA and featuring special guests from time to time. Using a mix of fact, humor and the occasional sprinkling of hard hitting journalism Rear Naked Radio does it's best to inform as well as entertain it's audience.
